Hi, I have a Technology related Blog, in Spanish, that is not generating income from adsense, please, I need some help to review the adsense placement, all your feedback is welcome.

I need help to get the most revenue possible, you can see my stats
    http://my.statcounter.com/project/standard/stats.php?project_id=789245&guest=1

My blog is www.DesdeGuate.com, click in any post and you will see a smal adsense ad before the Comments, (Comentarios), may be I would put one more.

Besides, when a user come from a search engine I have a plugin that add an ad in the sidebar, you can check it searching for Windows Media Player 11, (google.es) click on the Second link that would be "DesdeGuate.com » Windows Media Player 11".
    http://www.google.es/search?hs=F9q&hl=es&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aes-ES%3Aofficial&q=%22windows+media+player+11%22&meta=

If any placement experts on these forums could help me out I would really
    appreciate it.

    Thank you!!!

    (sorry for my bad english)

First of all, you say it's not generating any income, and immediately think it might be the ad placement. But let me ask you this first:

    What is your traffic like?

Next time please just tell us the stats, we don't want to have to go to your stat counter and try to figure it out for ourselves. It would be so much easier if you just came out and tell us.

    Anyways...

Okay, so you're averaging 1.5k/day, which should translate into higher numbers than your pennies a day. Immediately upon going to your site, I see that you only have 468 banner within the single post template, at the bottom at that.

Here's what you should do to increase CTR/revenue:

    1) Add a leaderboard adlink unit on top of your logo on the front page, and add a 468 banner in the "Diseño: CSS Tweak." section, replacing the mentioned section. It's been proven over and over that banners/ad links on the front page, at the very top, gets the highest CTR.

    2) You can add a skyscraper banner to your sidebar, perhaps before your recent comments, or below it. Your choice. Personally I wouldn't add it, as skyscraper banners perform poorly, and they might spoil the look of your sidebar. But it is an option...

    3) Instead of the 468 banner at the end of your single posts (and before your comments), add a 336 rectangle box, and change the links (you have them as red right now) to the soft blue of your site's links. I.e. You want to blend in your ads with your site's content as much as possible. The bright red links just screams "Don't click me, I'm an ad!"

    4) Test, test, test. Try my suggestions for a week, see if that increases your earnings. If not, move some around. You'll want to use Adsense's "Channels" option, which allows you to keep track of which ad banners are converting for you, and which aren't. After a week has passed, keep the banners that are converting, and try moving the ones that aren't around.

    Good luck.

Sorry for the stats, it's my first post.

And thank you for your excellent advices, I made a change, the Number 3 and I'm waiting for the results.

Respect the advice number 1, and the "Diseño CSS Tweak", it was a post, not an ad, but maybe I would put an ad there.

Thank you!! another advice ? :D

    Regards.

    Oscar
