Help With Adsense Ad Sizes

I have a medium size rectangle adsense ad in my sidebar. Under the title of my blog post, I have a large rectangle.

The large rectangle has an eCPM of 4 times more then the medium rectangle.

It's not that much of a difference in size, but why would there be such a big difference in the payout?

that is not the case, what is happend is the countries where the clicks came from are different, the ad size got nothing to do with the payout, another factor is the type of ads you have on both adsense codes

@amyxl I would assume that the clicks from the different countries should be roughly the same. There's no reason that the larger ad would only be clicked by users from premium countries while the other ad is only clicked by second tier countries.

Could it be position? Do sidebar ads get a lower CPM then those in the body of the post.
