    Hello,

I've created an addon domain through Cpanel and added a test index.html file to the directory but when I navigate to the domain "www.solvoarticles.co.uk" I just get a 403 error?

If I navigate to "www.solvoarticles.co.uk/index.html" the test page is displayed?

Does anyone know why the test doe's not automatically display when I navigate to the domain?

    Thanks

That's odd. You couid try renaming the file from "index" to "default", but It shouldn't make a difference...but worth a try.

    Hello,

I'm sure the page should be displayed automatically with an index.html file, but I did try "default.html" out of desperation but it was still the same.

I think it may be something to do with the .htaccess file from the main domain, I'm not sure if the addon domain should have its own?
I have no knowledge in these type files.

    Anyone have any ideas?

That's strange. I though what you did would have worked just fine. Nice of you to post the resolved issue too.
