HELP with a new site!!!

Hello! i need help. i found an ebay clone script and i want to start with it straight away. but i dont know and cannot figure out or find any place on the web that will teach me how to install the script onto my website.

can anyone help, or point me in the right direction?

Hey micavity I download the file and in it is a "Installation Help.pdf" file and that should tell you how to install it...

i have it and read it but i am confused...where is Mysql and more importantly what is it? and i looked up Cpanel and it costs money. i am so confused and dont have an idea what any of this stuff is =S

 

mysql are basically just databases where you can store content, for example in order to install wordpress you need mysql database.

you can get free cpanel from http://000webhost.com but its risky putting a clone script on a free web hosting thing

 

risky? =S what are the risks of doing that...is it illegal?

 

Maybe it's a clone so it may be going against copy rights of ebay im not exactly sure

 

ughh..well really i dont want to break the law. umm are there auction scripts you can use that wouldnt be ebay clones? orr do those not exist?
