I'm using a website to do some opt-in email marketing and some text display advertising. I was wondering if anyone could distinguish some terms for me. I would like to know with my text display what the following mean:

I purchased 5000 views, so what is the difference between a Click Thru and a Unique View; and how is the Click Ratio calculated.

I would like to figure out how my ad camaign is doing, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi tweener 10,

Click Thru is the number of clicks that your link receives. Unique views (I guess that means the same as unique visitors) are how many different people have seen your website. Sometimes the same person will click on your link more than one time, probably because he hesitates about your offer ;) . So let's say that he/she clicks on your link 3 times, well you'll still have 1 unique view as it is the same person that saw it.

And about click ratio, it is calculated by dividing the number of displays with the numbers of clicks.

    Hope this helps.
