help! why my backlinks has not updated for sevral months.

hello, my website's sitemap has been in google webmaster tools for two months, but my website's backlinks has not upgrate yet. but my backlinks update every day in yahoo. why was that. it is kind of you to give me some suggestion for my site:http://www.babatek.com

 

Google is notoriously bad for updating backlinks.
Yahoo gives a more accurate account of backlinks

 

Google is slow in updating backlinks. Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and you'll get quite a bit of information there on your site.

 

Check in webmaster tools as coated suggested. You will surely find more backlinks

 

there wil be soem problem bcz google now weekly updating the BL. So check it clearly and add more BL daily

 

For blog, google is bad for updating backlinks. In the webmaster tools also they do not display backlinks correctly. for my blog, yahoo displayed 61 backlinks. but google is still 0. Anybody have idea for indexing my backlinks in google?

 

Google will not display all backlinks you have . Try yahoo siteexplorer to check all backlinks . Recently Google had a backlink update and i think it still going..Hope they will add more in these days ..

 

maybe your backlinks are on pages that are not in search engines?

Check in web master tool Only.
Google web master tools will show more back links then you search viwa 'Link:sitename.com'

Also For one of my site I get more back links when I searched in google with 'Link:mysitename.com' but zero back links in web master tool.

so it is difficult to predicate how Google updates back links.

There is a principal on the GEETA (hindu spiritual book) : Do your jobs do not expect for Fruits (Results).

Keep posting/getting back links but do not waste time in whether google have noticed your link or not. Some day google will notice your back link.

some backlinks are not indexed by Google. So if Google show only 1 backlink then there is really only 1 backlink counted by Google.

 

I am in the same boat, google does not update my backlink count regularly on my webmaster tools, but I believe they do update their list pretty regularly it just takes a little bit of time for the change to show up on the webmaster tools

Google doesn't count any back links on the same page.

 

i have also notice that yahoo explore is faster than google webmaster
