    Help me!!!

This is really bad. I get quite a number of unique hits daily and my alexa ranking is about 1 million though the site is only a couple of months old.
But my google rank is zero! There are also no backlinks in google listed thought i am sure there are quite a number,

Moreover, 1 of the backlinks given in alexa happens to be a porn link! And the top keyword that drives traffic to my site according to alexa is also some porn stuff! lol.... n my site has nothing to do with porn.

    The site is www.studygrandmaster.com

Do you mean your page rank is 0. That's okay, just build some backlinks (preferably with good anchor text) and you can get PR to your site's homepage.

What you should be more concerned about is the non-targeted traffic you are getting.

Traffic wouldnt affect PR. The PR is based on the backlink.
Keep on build link, the more quality backlink you have, the higher PR you gain
Quantity of backlink dont helps much, but quality backlink did

I am getting the same problem. Earlier my website's pagerank was 2, but now it's rank is 0 after one month. Is there any problem with my website or it also might be a backlink problem?

create backlinks as much as you can, also blog posting with links to your site would be very useful for your site. And some important note: avoid of such links that points to pors or erotic sites or contain such kind of words.

Get some quality back links with good anchor text then definitely you will get good page rank because page rank depend upon no. of back link pointed on your site.

You don't have page rank because you haven't done enough SEO, Optimize your website and build quality backlinks and your pr should go up.

It's strange to me that a website registers on May 2008 with about 300 backlinks is still PR0.
Are you sure the domain is not penalized for some reason by Google?

Since your site is not new, did you get a higher PR any time during your existence or has it been PR0 through out?

If you did have a higher PR in between, then google certainly has slapped you for some associations....

    Regards,

    Thanks for the advice everyone!

I only started marketing the site in Feb 2009 though it has been registered for some time. The PR has been 0 since the very start.

I am certain an educational related website certainly cant be penalised by google. I am wondering what kind of reason this website might have been penalised for.

So now you have higher pr for http: // mirr orcre ator.com/index.php
So now you need to have 301 redirected http : //mir rorcr eator.com to index.php as per Matt Cuts blog

That helps Google know which url you prefer to be canonical. Adding a 301 redirect can be an especially good idea if your site changes often (e.g. dynamic content, a blog, etc.). as per Matt cuts

SORRY THIS COMMENT IS IN WRONG THREAD, APOLOGIES

Aparently it's also better to make sure all the back links are going to one domain format not a mixture.

You can define this in your htaccess file if your unsure of how the backlinks are formated now.

I can see 293 backlinks, don't worry PR will come. However your anchor text I do not see anyone searching for.
