In fact, there are only 2 registrars - Namecheap.com and Godaddy.com.

Why do I think so? because they are the best, why going for the rest? Their prices are lowest and they combine their promos in such a way you can get a name for a decade for $5 or less if you are smart enough and can transfer in time to catch the promo (once every 60 days)

The difference is Namecheap.com operates swiftly and deals almost any issue in live chat, while Godaddy is much slower at dealing with email requests, while having great offers for sitebuilding and renewing the name for prolonged periods of time (they issue their own SSL and have a decent sitebuilder; their support area is a mess, though).

There are a plenty of others, of course - Name.com, dotster.com, DomainName.com, moniker.com, Domain.com - but each of them has some flaws.

The choice is up to you, of course.

    Oh, how interesting.

RESELLERCLUB.com is a domain registered under PublicDomainRegistry.com (http://who.is/whois/resellerclub.com), which is known for bad customer experience on itself (read things about them on many forum, negative feedback prevail). How can their reseller be better, if they, on behalf of their clients, have to deal with the same issues their sponsoring registrars ignores with other clients?

Just an example. Find what is wrong in this screenshot:

You tested them ALL? All ICANN registered Registrars and Resellers? And even the unregistered ones? Here is the list:
    http://www.internic.net/alpha.html
I might say you spent about 50 years testing more than 100 registrars in the list. You must be a Highlander, my friend.

You could as well say: Best bird is a penguin. No proofs.
I will not criticize you... but your argumentation seems... invalid.

Actually, as a long-time customer of Namecheap, Godaddy and a couple of other registrars, I discovered coupons are nearly useless nowadays.

I will try to explain. For about a year already, Namecheap promos look like this (the picture differs from their promises a lot):

Promo is announced to take place at Tuesday, April 2. It will consist of 24 batches 1-minute-long at the beginning of each hour. During these batches you can register or transfer any amount of domain names for $.99 or even less. However, numbers of participants are so great that Namecheap billing system is able to process only some amount of orders (let's say 1000, though I do not know the exact numbers, these are only my assumptions).
Therefore, even by using a coupon, your transaction just may be not processed. You will be refunded during the next hour and will be able to test your luck next hour, until you succeed or are sick and tired trying.

Godaddy usually uses a different scheme - they accept orders while supplies last and process them later. I can't say this method works better, as the name you are after can be registered while your order is pending activation, and transfer approval can be processed few days later, when Namecheap incoming transfer promo is already over, making it useless.

With Namecheap you at least have results at once and all is done before the end of the day.

Thus said - regular coupons work fine, but promo coupons - nah.. worthless.
