Hi, In a nutshell I purchased a script + customisation for $50. I paid $25 as a deposit. 48 hours later the script has not been installed properly and customisation has not yet begun. I've been told by the programmer to "chill" and after threatening to report him to DP and Paypal he told me he'd get it done by tomorrow night. I've been told I'm not getting a refund nor will I win a dispute. What should I do? This DP member is selling a script on here and I fear he'll do the same to others. I've had to chase him and he is not able to even do all the required customisations I asked for. Thanks in advance.
Rate him in Itrade if you bought it through a thread here and go to that thread and leave feedback. If you did not buy it through here, nothing DP can do. I would give it a little time to fix the problem, maybe he is just having a little problem getting it set up. I would at least wait a few days.
Always claim a dispute no matter how hopeless it seems. If nothing else it will annoy the scammer. And yes, give him a negative iTrader explaining exactly how he scammed you so other people don't have to go through what you did.
