    Hi :)
I have a website. I don't know much about website classification or status. For example what is exactly " Web 2.0"?.

Anyway, my website or portfolio is:

    http://www.anamulgraphics.com

What is the requirement for me to be included in the yahoo or Google search engine. Does my website fullfill the condition, if there is any condition?

Please let me know. It will be a great help.

    Thanx
    Anamul

Not much is expected of your website. Your site should have worthy contents, all the links working and the site is presentable and useful to others who stumbleupon your site. Tha's all!
Go and submit to major search engines and see yourself the no. of unique visitors and traffic your site can able to obtain...
    Good luck!

just to get indexed by the search engines. All you need is somebody to link to your site. Your forum posting should work fine for this and should show up someplace inthe google rankings in a week or 2.

Web 2.0 : What does it really mean ?

To get included in Google and Yahoo create a sitemap and submit it to Google Webmaster Tools and Yahoo!. As others have said, you also need to get other people to linkback to your website.

I don't think a site map matters all that much.. Make sure your site has proper internal linking (every page links to others within 3-4 pages depending on size). If you have a couple links to your site and aren't totally spam you'll be indexed after a rather short time. Read the guidelines for the search engines but you don't actually have to submit anything to them. Here is a post by rand on the subject "My Advice on Google Sitemaps - Verify but Don't Submit"

I have cerated the site map and got it verified, and the site was indexed in about 2 weeks time. It took all the 800 some pages in the first indexing, and after a couple of weeks it dropped to just 71.
