I created a WP blog and had it installed on the main site, so that the blog is at example.com instead of example.com/blog

How can I move it? I created a folder called blog, then moved everything over into it, but the graphics and all are messed up when I visit the site

I did it, but the site didnt work all the way. The theme worked, but the posts were all messed up and missing. Then when I made a non WP index in the main index, it didnt format properly.

I changed it back and chaged the database and now the site works, but WP is back on the index. It sucks

i think you need to edit two columns in the wp_options table 'siteurl' and 'home'

If you have still not removed the contents from the root folder then login to your admin panel example.com/wp-login.php and change the URL for your blog and save it. If you have removed the contents then first copy them to root folder and login to your admin panel.

It worked, but when I created a new index page in the root - non WP, it screwed everything back up
