[Help] Want to ADD a Title On the Upper Bar.

Hello DPers,

Recently I started with an IPB Board , I am a Total noob in it, Don't really know how to go about with things, just did a small changes in it and started posting. Now i want to add a category on the Upper Bar of my Forum (Screen Shot Attached) . Please tell me if anybody knows how to do it.

 

It should be available in administrator privilages.

 

I Can't Find it , I Searched a lot. That's why i posted it here on DP.

 

Sorry I forgot the thing. Adding a new category means it should be linked to some other page r8. So you have to create your own custom page(if it's new) and the add the category by editing your
template file.I think it shoul be named like overall header something like that.

 

I have a custom page made already i want to link to that page. How do i edit the template file?

 

Dowload your header file via FTP and change it.

If you are not familiar with scripting,html,databases, sort of things there is only one way.
You can change your hosting account and admin account password to some other thing and send me the total account details by Private message.
I will do it for you. Dont worry you can trust me.

 

Copy the image location of the original header of the default template. Then paste it in notepad. There you will the path URL of that image title bar. Create an image of similar size and name it with the same name of the default image header and upload it to your server. Overwrite the file.
