help verifying wordpress blog on flippa

Hi every one I do apoligise if this is the wrong section for this question as I know its for selling, however I felt this would be the most apropriate section due to many people here having experience in this area.

My problem is trying to verify my wordpress blog for an auction at flippa.com I have tried it the way I did it for google webmaster tools by creating a page with the code as the title but no joy.

On flippa they dont really have any info and have searched google and youtube and found nothing just wondered if someone could advise me on how to do it correctly as I want to get my auction going today thanks guys.

 

You don't need to put the code in the title.. it works a little differently in Flippa. All you need to do is to upload the .txt file they provide you with to your public_html folder.

 

would you put the code in note pad then upload it through say filezilla or a similar program

 

upload the txt file (flippa_12345.txt) then login to your cpanel==>public_html then click upload. thats'it!
