Help ! Vbulletin trouble shoot !

    I have recently purchased a Vbulletin script. I am hosting a website from a reseller of ThePlanet Dedicated server, when i try to upload it to the server and install it , i get an error.

    I heard that Most of the web hosting uses LOCALHOST while others like Godaddy , theplanet don't . I emailed my Reseller yesterday , there wasn't any reply yet.

    Any suggestions ?

    you will prob have to wait til your reseller responds as they will know the exact location for Mysql, and yes usally it IS localhost but there is the occasion.

    also check your email when you signed up. it may be in there also.

    The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server.



    it tells you right here

    did you make a database and user, and did you connect them with full rights?
