These are header level elements and used to create sections in a web page the same way as you might have seen in books.

It's a header tag which is use to giving header text in the story......
    There are 6 header tag.
    Ex.
    <h1> text </h1>
    <h2> text </h2>
    <h3> text </h3>
    <h4> text </h4>
    <h5> text </h5>
    <h6> text </h6>

first tag <h1> is open tag and </h1> is end tag..

Headers with keywords once had a somewhat significant weight on rankings. But as search engines algorithms progressed, headers became less and less weighted. Not sure how much weight is put on headers, but its not much. Its still good practice to try and fit keywords into headers, but just like bolded keywords - it won't make or break your rankings.

I disagree with this statement. Your header tags are very important to communicate the hierarchy of subject matter on the page. If not you're leaving it up to dumb luck for the search engines to figure out. Try an experiment with two websites and leave out the header tags on one and see which one progresses quicker.

There is even actually a method of increasing the weight of your header tags that I teach in an advanced course.

So I would say to the OP that you shouldn't diminish their value regardless of what the search engines even say, because they may like em' today but love em' tomorrow.

H tags are size specifiers for fonts. h1 is the largest and it goes to H6 which is the smallest. The idea is that h1 is seen as heading type stuff and there may be a boost if your keywords are in h1.

All things being equal h1 tags are generally too large for conventional web development. They can be controlled via CSS. For instance you can specify that anything in an h1 tag show as smaller font.

While user agents will assign default values to <h> tags (and all other tags for that matter) it has been a long, long time since appearance was dictated by tags. The whole purpose of CSS was to separate content from presentation.
