i am a newb and started a blog about 3 weeks ago with lots of content on preparing my 68 camaro for autocross racing in SCCA. i put up about 10,000 words of content in the first week and with a few links i was the first hit using the search terms "scca camaro" on google. i went on vacation and didn't put any new content for about 2 weeks and found i was down to number 5. I put up about 1000 words more content yesterday and exchanged a link with someone here, and by the end of the day i was #3 on google search with "scca camaro". Then this morning, i'm nowhere...not on the first 8 pages anyway.

Can anyone explane why this happens, and how i can restore my higher listing? Or refer me to somewhere where this is explained?

    the website is www.sccacamaro.com

    Thanks!

For starters, your site is new. That's to be expected.

I noticed you're using WordPress here - why don't you take a few moments to review my WordPress SEO Checklist? It'll give you some tips and pointers on how to ensure your WordPress installation is as optimized as possible (as far as the technical issues go anyway).
