Does anyone know why Twitter organic impressions would drop off? In July, my company received about 8,000 impressions. We normally get about 10,000 impressions. I don't see anything else that changed. We still have the same number of followers, we did roughly the same number of posts (3-5 times per day), we posted the same type of content (mostly useful content such as white papers and videos, with only a small number of sales-oriented posts). I don't see what could have changed or why the drop-off, but company execs are asking for answers. :-(
You tweet the same amount of tweets, your following didn't change, yet your impressions have dropped. Could it be as simple as fewer people logging in to view your content? Or they simply got sick and tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again? By the way, what's your company's name? I'd prefer not to work there, since your execs have no clue what twitter is.
Wow what a douche bag answer. I know the same tweet that had higher impressions just yesterday now have a lower amount. That's BS. The impressions from the same tweet wouldn't drop it never has. Only increased over time. So what's happening is not due to repetitive tweets.
The Twitter Algorithms for showing Tweets are not very predictable. Keep working at it with consistent posts keeping your content fresh, unique and interesting. Check to see which types of Tweets are receiving more impressions & interactions and post more like those ones. Hope that helps. Good luck!
