Hello Guys, Can anybody here tell how to make the posts pending? I mean I've made my wordpress blog open to all. So anybody can register there as a publisher and publish their content. But I would like to know how to make these posts pending. I mean the only person who is allowed to publish posts should be the admin. Though all can submit posts, they should be reviewed before publishing. Can anybody help me solving this? PS: Please suggest me a good news/magazine theme for wordpress (free)
The only way you can force contributors to show as pending would be to have all new users added in as contributors as opposed to authors. When they are contributors an admin will have to review the post and approve it/publish it. Someone identified as a contributor cannot publish. I don't have much insight on news or magazine themes but I use Thesis (paid) and Atahualpa (Free) and like them both.
