Hello, Yes, Its ok buy in Godaddy and very safe After you buy the domain name, you will have full rights in around 20 days
Are you talking about back orders ? You pay in advance and if you dont get the domain you dont get the money back.
Hello Login, sorry, hope you are wrong, Godaddy yes will refund the money.. look this is very rare. If you are the successful bidder on an expired domain, and the current domain registrant renews the domain within the redemption grace period, you will be notified via email and all your funds will be refunded to you within six business days. This is the url: http://help.godaddy.com/article.php?article_id=918&topic_id=241&isc=cjcdom001b Best Jakomo
This is only if you are the successful bidder and then lose the domain again. If you dont get the domain at all, you dont get any money back. I know this.
======================================================= So, the $59 + comission price not guarantee to be successful bider, and dont get any money back?
I haven't had any experience with backorders, but I thought that when you don't win it, the amount would be credited back to you for another backorder. Doesn't Snapnames & Pool do this?
Hello, But please I am not tell me my experience. Read what say Godaddy: http://help.godaddy.com/article.php?article_id=918&topic_id=241&isc=cjcdom001b If you are the successful bidder on an expired domain, and the current domain registrant renews the domain within the redemption grace period, you will be notified via email and all your funds will be refunded to you within six business days As say GODADDY, you will REFUND
Have you tried contact the support? I have some nice experience with godaddy, I failed to transfer my domain and they refunded my money.
Please read what they say jakomo. They say if you are a successful bidder, but then lose the domain again for any reason you will get your money back. If you are a NON-SUCCESSFUL bidder you will not get your money back. The money can be used for back ordering another domain though. But they will NOT pay you back if you dont get the domain. And YES, I have been in touch with Godaddys support about this. Thre is no doubt about this.
Godaddy is the worst backodering service. i have personally tried it several times since my money was also STUCK with them as u said but they failed to catch any name that i backordered. go with others such as snapnames, Pool etc.
i have never bothered with godaddy backorders either. seems like a con to me when someone says yeah give me your money for a domain that someone else has registered and if they forget to renew it one year we will buy it for you. doesnt sound like a good idea
Hello, But I don't understand If you are not a success bidder, You did not win it. Right? If you did not win it. You don't need to pay. I have done it many times, and I have lose the auction, and I did not pay anything. Maybe I don't understand.. Best
SnapNames and Pool only debit money from your account if you win a domain - they charge no up front fee. So if you don't win a domain, you don't get charged anything. GoDaddy charge €19.99 upfront to backorder a domain. That is non-refundable. Jakomo, I realise what you are saying, however we're talking about different charges. In the case you pointed out, you get a refund if you successfully get a domain but then the original owner renews it. If however the domain name never becomes available for bidding in the first place, you don't receive a refund on the backorder charge.
