That's interesting, because I don't see it that way, I see "none". Also, the hits you're getting, is that paid for traffic? Otherwise it could just be from bots.
Thats google adwords, I contacted 100 rc flying clubs all over the world sending them emails regarding this new event. I purchased to have my link on one of the biggest RC airplane forums around, trust me I am working night and day on this. A bit frustrating
ha ha ha ha! Thanks for the "lovely" compliment... But remember this.... It doesn't matter what your site looks like, even though yours needs some help . It all depends on the traffic you get to the site. Organic and targeted traffic that is. It also depends on the content on your site... "Content is King"... Again, thanks for the "beautiful" compliment, but the "beautiful" thing is that its ranked very very high for my targeted keywords....
can you also check out an affiliate i am trying to promote with adwords, i got 177 clicks 15 order form page impressions but no sales, was wondering if it says aff=none on that to. w w w.woodworking4home.com/?hop=887rc
i don't get this, it says my id on my page, Did i really miss out on sales? and if so, i must be doing something wrong
Flydali, what is your site about? I'm confused. Are you talking about a flying event, or are you trying to sell remote control airplanes? Part of making your content "king" is making very clear what your purpose is. Is this event ongoing year around or is it only one time? If so, you''re going to run into a time limit. I assume you're an avid flyer and love all kinds of things to do with flying. If I were you, I switch out your static website for a blog. I say this because blogs constantly get updated with new posts and new content which the search engines prefer over a static website. You can rank for a static website, but it takes more work to keep it ranking. You've got a specialized topic that only you and other flyers can talk the talk and walk the walk. You are the prime candidate for a blog. Get Wordpress installed on to your domain. Get blogging with posts. Talk about how you prefer VFR over IFR flying. Write about what to do when you have make an emergency landing over water. Talk about ensruing proper ballast can literally affect the stability of your flight. All that flying stuff...you've got tons of knowledge to make it your own. The cool thing about Wordpress is that you can add extra pages to it so it looks kind of like a website. Make one of those pages: "events". You can add Adsense. You can sell affiliate products related to your topic/niche very nicely in your content. This sounds like a topic you enjoy, so I cannot imagine you not having enough to say about it. Check out Yaro Starak's blog. He's got free blogging tips and he has a blogging course. His blogging course is expensive, but if you're going to spend $500, it's better to spend it there. A lot of people who've gone through his course have done very well for themselves and made money. I'm pretty sure you can, too, especially since it's a topic you seem to know a lot about and have a passion for. I'm sure he'll teach you traffic techniques, many of them free, that can help your blog become successful. BTW, making money online is not an overnight process. It can take 6 months before you see the cash roll in, sometimes more. it depends on your niche, the demand for your niche, you have good days, you have bad days. However, if you're site is not set up properly, "optimized" properly for success, it can be a completely wasted effort. Like others have said, analyze your site/blog as you go along. Add the Google Analytics Script to see what links your traffic is coming in from. You're going to have to constantly test and tweak as you go along to maximize your traffic, but it'll be worth it in the end. If you want some free traffic tips, got to Kim Roach's blog at Buzzblogger.com. They're free and don't involve much SEO. But fix your your site first! I recommend your check out Yaro Starak's Entrepreneurs-Journey.com site. You're a prime candidate for his course. Good luck.
If you were referring to me, that's not what we do. We don't build affiliate websites or do copyrighting so we can't be hired to do anything for her.
can you try this now w w w .woodworking4home.com/?hop=887rc anyone and go to order page and tell me what affiliate ID you see, Iam trying to figure this out cheers.
It's probably because the cookie (which has your affiliate ID) is already saved on your computer. For every other visitor, the cookie wont be set (because you aren't sending us to the right link) and you wont get credit. This is the link you need to send people to: http://hop.clickbank.net/?887rsc/modelplane
No, that link is also wrong. You should use this: http://887rsc.wood4home.hop.clickbank.net (got it from his affiliates page: http://www.woodworking4home.com/affiliates/)
thanks dlm, can you try it now w w w .woodworking4home.com/?hop=887rc and let me know if clickbank changed.....your a doll
Use dlm's advice for the affiliate URL (http://887rsc.wood4home.hop.clickbank.net/), coz I'm not seeing your aff ID in the page either when trying yours.
Try what now? You keep sending us to a link that we keep telling you to change... Are you feeling ok? Too much wine last night? lol
sorry, my affil id is 887rc, ichanged this in where you guys have told me and still nothing. I don't get it
12,000 visitors already is impressive - Have you got Google Analytics so you can monitor where these are coming from. If you have no sales is someone doing things better/ cheaper - how unique is your site. Are you getting visitors from relevant sources - for example r/c forums etc I know you are looking from revenue from the Google ads - but does it have to be so central - it might be putting people off you look like a portal - I'd be interested to see what your bounce rate is. Lastly the Google ads dont look very relevant to you site, I'm no expert on this but can you not target them more. Perhaps you could give us a little more info. Where are your existing visitors coming from? and we might be able to help. Whats is your main aim or way of making money on this??
i think you really need to get the site right first im sorry but it is very poor, i as many others would just bounce im sure, the problem is, your new to it, the site is all just wrong and adsense/ads all over the place, don't pay anymore money out on advertising till you sort out your site or your money, effort and time is all wasted.
My Bounce rate is 4.64%. My goal is to a) have hobby people enter their aircraft into my contest which will be held yearly, but.....evey month there will be new and different contest to win prizes etc. I would like to make money on adsense and affiliate program. What you are buying from my site is the entry kit. I have had lots of emails, just no sales.
