Help think of a slogan for a gaming website

So I have recently began building up my gaming blog www.gamercrowd.net
The problem is, I cannot think of an adequate slogan for the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since the current slogan is "The crowd of gamers. Join the crowd", but I don't really think it suits the site.
The site is currently a blog, but I want to head it into the direction of a community too.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Your slogan needs to be built around what you are trying to do with your site. So the first thing you need to do is to try clearly stating what your site is about. I would suggest writing down 10 different one line explanations of your site. The seed for your slogan will be in there. The last post by Jameyson is a good example, not a good slogan but a perfect one line explanation. Once you have those one liners you need to put on your creative cap and try to find clever ways to say the same thing. Again I would make a list, below each of your 10 one line explanations try to come up with 10 clever ways to say the same thing and you will find your slogan. An example based on Jameyson's suggestion would be "Up to date info for the up to date gamer". That's not very good, but it demonstrates the technique.

I know this sounds like a lot of work, but this is how the big boys in advertising do it. They use this technique because it works, and of course it keeps your slogan focused on your site's mission.

"Playing too many games may cause serious brain damage. You may also develop symptoms similar to Aspergers and Tourettes. But, oh hell, go ahead play like there's no tomorrow!"

    May work.

I really like this one! It is short and has a very dramatic message that I think that gamers will like.

My suggestion....Ignore us. Seriously, ignore every slogan suggestion above. You don't want them.

Go post the same question in two or three active gamer forums and two or three active FB Gamer groups. If you really want extra points, offer a prize for the best slogan. But first....

Go get a free MailChimp account and start capturing emails on your site....plan for your marketing future now.

Get your forum, Buddypress, or some form of community up FAST....before you post the question on the forums. Actually, you should make them post their entry in your new forum...if they want to win the prize.

Oops...I'm not giving you advice on a slogan....I'm giving you advice on how you can use your "slogan" to promote your new site...

You may not use word "crowd" in the content actually. The whole idea is clear when you see the logo. Try something neutrel like "Small gaming universe"

I still find it a bit of a minefield. When it comes to creating content for my site, it's a piece of cake, but branding isn't my forte.
I do like the suggestions, but when I recently outsourced my logo, and they used the old slogan, and it looks nice in the logo, and my co-admin likes it too, but thank you all for your suggestions.
