What is better, the Google ads or the Google search bar (or both)? 3. For the people that have alot of sites, how long does it take you to create a new site? 4. For the people that have alot of sites, how long does it take you to create a new site? A small site can be done in about an hour, something large usually takes a few days. 4. Can I place 3 ads on every page of my website(or just 3 ads total)? every page 5. Is there anything else I should be asking? Plenty more, just keep reading the forums and you should find everything you need here.
just a simple answer you don't have to own more sites to earn more just a site is sufficient ,imp' is traffic the more the traffic more clicks,if you create a site using blogs and other CMS takes less than a day i guess. yea you can place 3 ads plus referral ads ,imp' go through google TOS u don't need to any anythings,everything is there.
Referral ads? What are those? By the way, is it against the adsense TOS to use another advertising agency in addition to adsense? Thanks, theres alot of usefull information here.
I have one more question. What is the purpose of a robot.txt file? Do I need it for google to see my site (or see it more often)? I saw Google's page for robot.txt files but its confusing.
The first thing you should be asking is how to build a good site and how to get traffic to the site. Asking about how to make money from adsense before you have a popular website is a sure fire way to never make any money at all.
Thats a good point. I dont know much about stuff like Flash and creating great site layouts. All I know is HTML, PHP, Java (although I hate aplets), and some CSS. Im more of a programmer then a web designer. I read on Google that if someone visits my page from a page with a very high pagerank, then my pagerank will raise. Is that true? Also, is it a good idea to use search engine result numbers to find ideas for new pages? The only things I know about getting people to my pages are: -Sending search engines my url -Having a sitemap -and the description in the meta tag Is there more stuff?
No worries there, you definitely don't need to know Flash to make money at Adsense. A solid understand of CSS and PHP will get you pretty far. Well, it's if they link to your site from a page with a high PR that your PR will raise. Visiting is good, but linking is much better. What do you mean by result numbers exactly? But yes, using search engine results to find how much competition there are for certain topics and what people are looking for is quite worthwhile. There's other tools as well to help you find out what niche to go after and such. Yep, there's SEOing your site for the search engines so you rank better, exchanging links with other sites, having contests or newsletters on your site, word-of-mouth/referrals, driving traffic from one of your other sites, and even more ways as well!
Thanks, those answers were helpfull. By the result numbers I mean how many times a word is entered into a search engine. Is it safe to go by those numbers if the keyword isnt too broad of a subject?
Read the Google adsense TOS. It will answer most of your questions and prevent you from being banned.

Yeah 70 pages is alot. Hey, would it hurt if have a dash "-" in my domain name.(Example: my-site.com vs mysite.com)?
Possibly, but you have to see how many searches for it there are done, and how valuable the keywords in the niche are - aka, I could pull up a keyword with only 300,000 results in google, but when I go to investigate the keyword, it only gets 150 searches a month, or has no one interested in advertising it for whatever reason - it mainly comes down to keyword value, niche obscurity, and keyword popularity - find the right mix of those, and you have yourself a winner.
