[help] subdomain pointing

    hi,

    is it possible to point my subdomain to different NS ??

    something like this

    domain.net will point to ns1.domain.com

    and subdomain.domain.net will point to ns1.anotherdomain.com

    no response? i think cannot point subdomain to another nameserver

    yes it can posible...create A record to another nameserver ip
    depends on control panel

    If you have a VPS or dedicated server you can do it by editing the BIND configuration file.

    But if you are on a shared hosting service and you cannot do it through your control panel then it is possible from your registrar service.

    In such case you need to use their nameservers and point the A records to your hosting and add from there as many A records as subdomains are needed even if pointing to another service.

    ok thank you, I think netfirms domain control panel can edit the A record
