Help: Starting affiliate network!?

First of all i wanna thank everyone for there replys and the forums i have been learning alot.

Recently i've been hooked on this affiliate business. I've been researching alot and decided i want to creat a Affiliate Network, i have brainstormed many ideas. I just wanna know the steps it would take and how much money i would need to invest to get going? I know this isn't somthing thats going to be done overnight, and its not as easy as im making it, i willing to put in alot of work and dedication to get something really going.
