Maybe a visit from left and scarface is in order :). I have the same problem with one of my mainstream domains. I actually did purchase every important variation I could think of .ca.com.org, etc. Accept 1 .net :(. The same thing is happening to me...it is being redirected to a competitor. I just don't have the time for legal action.

Most people aren't going to type in the domain name anyway, unless they know your business well, in which case they probably (1) know already to use the web-magnet version and (2) will recognize that they've hit the wrong website if they forget.

Morst people are going to find your site by using search terms related to your product(s) or service(s). What you should be doing, rather than spending a lot of money to buy the webmagnet version, is put your money and effort into SEO so that anyone typing in the keywords "web magnets" or whatever your search terms are will find you at the top and your "competitor" buried on page 20.

Complete nonsense. Brandability is key. There is more to marketing than seo and the dash hurts. Point blank.

Proving once again that you really don't know what you're talking about, Toots.

Go back to General Chat and start another thread telling us to stop posting here and go post at your sorry blog instead.

In the US a "mil" is representative of 1/1000th of an inch. It is a dificult term since "mil" in other places is a milimeter (1/25.4th inch). Usually though in the States milimeter is expressed as "mm" and mil is just "mil" though some people show it in inches. Ex: 20 mil is 0.020".

    Hope this helps. :)

Minstrel, please refrain from giving bad advice. You are bored and need a life but it gives you no right to lead other members into the wrong direction.

Suppose you let other members decide who's giving bad advice here, Toots. Don't forget... this is a public forum. That means every bonehead thing you post is available for others to read.

Look, not once have you given any webmaster related advice worth anybody's while. You're not even a challenge. I cannot wait to read your next seo related comment :D
