you have rss feeds which will allow most anybody with a script to take the content.. something to keep in mind. do a search for autoblogger on this site or google

 

Seems the agressor has removed all of my articles from his site...

 

I think it is done by some spam bots. Try to email blogger and google support and let's see your luck.
Most of the time, blogger and google won't respond as they recieve thousands of these emails.

 

It was not a spam bot.. The blog owner posted his blog on yahoo answer... read the first topic please..

 

well 1st of all it goes like 1st come 1st serve! so if your article has been crawled by google or if you have submitted to ezine or any other article dir then it shouldnt be a matter! besides u can always report the post..and its good to put a copyscape logo at the bottom of your page just like i do

 

My site now has a good reputation and standing with google and my posts are indexed after an hour of posting...

 

Well i do copy and paste, well not myself, I have a program install on wordpress call wap-o matic, something cant remember the name that good, With that script, all i have to do is post the URL to the rss feed that I want to display on my site and it grabs the first 15 news content and added to my site,

I dont take credit and the links stay active, so if someone wanted to read the whole story or article, as soon they click on read more or the tittle of the page, they are automaticly taken to the original content where I got it from.

I run a small directory which im curently working on and it takes feed from all over the internet and puts it into category , and when someone clicks on the link to see the article they are automaticly taken to the origianl content where ever is posted or the URL feed was grab from .

now I understand this people taking credit for something they did not do is wrong, IF they had put a link back to your site and or continue reading to point to the rest of the content would have been good, But I guess he is taking all the credit.

but like on euser said, if you have rss feed, then anyone could easily copied the content of your site through RSS feed and if you have it enable, Then you really cant say much if one of your users and or reader decide to post it on their site for imformation or what ever, Now if you have stated that the content is not to distribute then yes is bad for them to do that, but if you dont, really aint much you could do, Sending a note to google wont do any help , sending your complaint to google adsense will not do anything at all, is not adsense related,

best thing to do is to post a warning or agreement notice what ever you call those thing letting users know that your content is not to be distribute without your permission, That way if one of your users and or guest copy your content, then you could take them to small court and win the case easily, I see it happen before.

here is a good tip that I seen a lot of people get caught and discrimenate themself,

If you run a forum and or blog and someone steal or use your content, Before your take any legal action check that the content they took or information they sharing is not illegal,

here is a good example, This guy copy the whole forum content but the website logo and name.

The original owner where the content was stolen decide to take the little guy to court, and he won but he admited and stated that the content was his and when users post in their forum, the content belongs to the forum itself, in other words, What ever you post on that forum is propertly of the forum , is what the original owner stated.

who knew that will back fire when we received a letter being sue for copyright imfringment and sharing copyright materials. , well the forum the original owner was running was a warez site..

well the little guy that got sue was me but after we got sue, My judgement was over turn and throw out

so before ya guys start suing people or take dramastic action, look at the content that was stolen, Did you clearly state in your TOS or anywhere near your articles that your content could not be copy or reproduce without your consent ,

I did not see the warning message nor did I read the TOS which was my biggest mistake is what my lawyer say, So from now on, Everytime I find a feed full of content, I look at the TOS and or agreement, And if I dont find anything they telling me not to share and or not reproduce the content Im going to get the URL feed .

one thing that saves me from anyone getting a good case do to what I do is that I dont copy the whole content and always leave a link back to their content, So I see myself more like that search engine then a website owner taking content, I had to change my page name to search engine to avoid any mix up and it has been working out pretty good, My site has when down to 258.000 in alexa compare to 14.000.000 when I first started , and my site is less then 8 months old .

I have a question, Does anyone know of a Good ad services that pays very well for CPM , for impression then clicks, My google adsense is only making about 95 a month compare to 214.95 I made last month with Adbrite. I use chikita it works pretty well and made 350.87 from them last month, Well I made half of that, but do to they promotion I got double the amount back .

I was planning or dropping adsense which is not bringing me much money do to they format of ads which makes it a bit hard for me to implement on my templates compare to adbrite which lets me do a bit more . ( i probably keep adsense links ads only which is what brings me 80 percent of the earning from adsense.

I want to share something with u too, I write articles on my blogs, and sooner indexed by google and sooner, many many people copy it with any orgialnial back link to my origianl post -that is bad.. well,, after 14 days, when i search again, i even can not find any result of my blogs, even i am the first the post,, but others HIGH PR site ranks top,
simple way, if MSN copy your article and not list your name links, that is bad,, when someone search , you always rank after the MSN,,,

 

Though my site always ranks high, I am still worried.

I am actually starting to include a a short copyright policy on my posts and I will edit everything if I have time..

yes, adsense actually responded and an Indian support told me that they already send warning to the aggressor after I sent proof that I am the original owner... Adsense is always good to me and I always got fast answer to emails..

Glad to hear and hope everything works out pretty good for you, Here is something my friend has been tryin you might want to look into it, Well that is if your articles are not that long, My friends text content are 75 percent image , that way if anyone try to copy his text, they will have a hard time doing so, and really not much people want to type if they are copying and pasting .

well guys i am least bothered whether people copy from my blogs or not. I know some are doing and i just leave it to them. Dishonesty hits back real hard, it may not do in near future but it does bring you down to pieces. If someone thinks he can do and go scott free without getting hit, then he is wrong.

Trust me, such work will doom him
