    Hello Kamiru,

Do you plan on using cPanel/WHM, and offering cPanel to your clients? If so, you will have to add that cost (for the license) in to the cost of the VPS. Also 256mb of RAM is NOT enough to run cPanel. Some may argue, but I can assure you that you won't be happy running it on a VPS with those specs. I have deployed plenty of VPSs, and you will maxing out your RAM (and then some) continously with those specs.

You will lose some control with the master reseller account, and quite frankly, I hate master reseller accounts personally, but at the same time, you also get all the free software. For you to duplicate that offering on a VPS, it's going to cost you more. The specs you list above sure sound like the current offering from Semoweb for $21/year. Their cPanel license costs an additional $15/mo. So at the end of the day, you're looking at around $200/year. That is of course without Fantastico, Softaculous, RVSkins, RVSitebuilder, etc. And I don't believe they have off-site daily backups, though I could be mistaken.

    Hello WSWD,

I don't plan on hosting people's site since my plan is to create a blog web site, and not a web hosting site. And yes, it's from semoweb for 21$/yr (VPS). Anyway, thank you for your great reply. It did answer my questions.

Go ahead with VPS if you know how to manage it.

My advise is go for MR.

Since VPS has had much better uptime, is much faster, and gives you much more freedom, since you can install any panel you want, it will be much better choice!
