If you have a site (www. YourSite. com) and that has a wordpress blog installed/hosted on that site (www. YourSite. com/blog), where the blog has good optimised content on the niche, aswell as the site.... how would you go about getting a variety of incoming links to your site + blog, using these below scenarios -Would you build incoming links to the Site only? -Would you build incoming links to the Site and blog (50/50)? -Would you build incoming links to the Site and blog (30/70)? -Would you build incoming links to the Site and blog (70/30)? -Would you build incoming links to the blog only? Can you give some guidance thanks If you get good rankings using any of the above methods, suggest what you do as for incomming links to your blog /and site it is Hosted on. The reason i ask is because the blog is on the same domain as the site, so got confusing, how Incoming links should be. and when getting incoming links to your blog, do you do it to the blog url, or to specific posts? If to the posts, then what would be the 'keyword anchor text' of them Incoming links ?? Thanks
Hi, Its better to build links for your web site. If you want links for your blog also do some directory submissions as well as submit to social networking sites. If you want links i cam ready to do it at cheap rate. Please PM me the details. Regards, Srinivas.
What do you want? Get visitors through Google? If yes, then you want good SERPS position, right? If yes, do this: link directly to your blog ARTICLES with the anchor text you have in the article TITLES. I guess you have your main keywords in titles. Then, you probably have some keywords in the site's title (within <title> tag). When linking to main site, use anchor text with kws from the title. Some of my health articles rank 1-10 in Google and Yahoo. What do I do? I write articles, publish, and they get there in minutes. No backlinks, nothing. I've noticed that some articles higher in SERPs than me, come from sites with higher PR. PR CAN be a factor in SERPs. To get PR you want to get some high PR backlinks to your main site. Don't bother much with "what percent to where". Write good content. You may get some backlinks from someone without asking for them. It happens.
Just get nice quality links by writing quality content. All this 30/70 50/50 70/30 are useless and you are wasting time on analyzing those things which don't even matter. If I tell you keep it 30/70, will it make any difference than 50/50 ? do you even count each and every link ? if you do than IMO you are wasting your time, just get to the basics and start writing for people
I agree. Link directly to articles, and hope they convert. Those are the highest quality and will get you better SERPS.
It depends what do you want to rank better your site or blog. I would go for (70/30) site/blog for commercial projects (site selling products)
Deep links will benefit you more in the long run. If people link to your articles organically often times they link to both your root domain as well as the specific content they like. If all your links point to one page on your site, it is obvious to google that you most likely manipulated the links and they werent generated organically.
ill suggest ya to go with deeplink strategy, would help you for long run. and also Better SERP position you will achieve.
Just try to balance up and commit somewhere in between. Eventually no matter what, you will still need incoming links going to both. Don't worry about the figure and what is more important is to keep on building..... that's all.
google give more preference to website instead of blog, so for your business website promotion will more beneficial compare to blog
