The current problem is the database problem. Do you have MySql in your hosting plan? Is MySql server up and running? I have a script you can play with to determine your current database status. 1. Download file http://www.useshots.com/dbtest.zip (672 bytes) 2. Unzip it. There will be file dbtest.php (1359 bytes). 3. Upload it to your server. 4. Point your browser to this script ( i.e. http://www.moviestatus.com/dbtest.php ) 5. Specify you database host, user, password, etc (like in wp-config.php) 6. Check the output and post it here.
The lightbreaker folder does sound like a template folder, if it is it will have files like- sidebar.php header.php footer.php If you don't see them it's not a template folder. If it is you've put it in the right place, though you don't need this template to make WordPress work since by default it will use the default theme if no other is present. It sounds like you bought a template only since you need a database as well if you bought an entire site with content included. If all you bought was a template and you've got a wp-config.php file with the info I posted above in the root of your domain it sounds like you've put the wrong database info in the config file. If you was meant to get a full working site (with content) I suggest going back to who you bought it from and asking where the database is and how you get a copy of it from them. Did you check for *.sql file in the template folder? Is this http://www.eblogtemplates.com/lightbreaker-wordpress-theme/ the theme you got? If you still can't get it working and you want me to take a look at it send me the template zip and I'll tell you if it's got a database in there or just a basic theme. My email is orders (((at))) google-adsense-templates.co.uk When people sell sites (assuming you bought a full site) they really should supply full installation details for the not so savvy webmasters.
