I went out and bought this Leadtek DTV1000 T Digital TV Tuner/Capture Card but am a little confused as to what I need to get it going to watch TV.

Would this work with a normal internal TV antenna (rabbits ears variety) or do you need some special digital TV antenna to get this thing to work?

It has the normal RF in like on the back of the TV, so I'm thinking a normal internal TV antenna would work?

It depends what you would like to watch.

If you have cable/sat you can connect the s-video inputs from your cable box to your tv card.

If you dont have cable/sat then you just need some sort of external antenna using the rf plug.

It's all sorted, thanks. I was lucky that I am in a good reception area. An indoor antenna does the job fine
