Help setting up blog on multiple domains from one hosting account

    Hi there,

I've got a web hosting account and bought 5 domains. I have installed wordpress onto the web hosting account, and now the 'main' domain works fine and shows the wordpress blog.
However, the 4 other domains which I added-on do not show the blog - instead it just shows an 'Index of' page.

Would appreciate any help with this, not sure how else to explain the problem really.

    Thanks for any help given.
    Matt

The 4 domains were added as an add-on domain, yes. And yes, I changed the name servers at godaddy to point to the hosting (JKA Hosting).

Thanks for any more help, and thanks for the interest.

I used fantastico, I think it was just the default directory.

Did you use Wordpress MU or just Wordpress. Assuming that you used the latter, you need to have separate installations for all your domains. Each one will use a separate mysql database.

I used Wordpress. Basically I logged in to my control panel and went to fantastico and just installed Wordpress.

Would I need to log in to each individual domain's control panel and install Wordpress for each one this way?

What is the name of your host and which version of Cpanel are you using ?

In most cases, fantastico asks you the name of the domain on which to install wordpress.

I'm using JKA hosting, not sure about Cpanel but I will try and find out and post later.

So do you think I just repeat the old process of installing the wordpress blog using fantastico, but this time I type in the URL of my other site, and then repeat this process?

    Thanks
