I decided to start a site that I'm going to use with Amazon but haven't got the time to set it up at the moment, mainly because I don't know how Joomla works, it looks quite confusing and I won't have time to figure it out for the next month or so The site is the furniture one in my sig. There's a few things that need doing as you can see by having a quick look, several pages need making for categories with a small bit of text in each relating to the category (although if the page is made, I can write a bit myself), few menus need changing and the basic template needs a few things removing from it (like signing up etc) The idea is that it's all working and I can go in and edit it in the future. I'm hoping it's a simple enough job for someone that knows Joomla so I'm wondering how much it's likely to cost me to get someone to sort it out so I can start putting in my Amazon and other associated adverts? I may not go ahead if it's going to cost a lot, but would welcome a rough idea.
If Joomla is too confusing, try Wordpress. A nice unique template should not cost more than $25 dollars for Wordpress. If you are set on using Joomla, the template price will go up if you have one made for you. If you have big ambitions such as forums and galleries and such, Joomla will do just fine.
