I was just checking my percentage of SEO on http://whois.domaintools.com/ and it is really low...

using their browsers in that page i discovered i stay stuck at the first page.... This might be because it is a splash page.... Basically it's just a image and the users have to click it to enter the site. There is also a javascript that redirects after 15 seconds but googlebots ignore it

is there a way i can tell googlebots to just skip my index.html file and directly go to /forums/index.php ?

Well, it's bad SEO practice to have a splash page. If you insist on it just provide a text link going to the landing page at the bottom of your splash page, this will give GoogleBot a path to your content based pages.

For shits and giggles I toshed my new web site in my signature into that tool, got a 95% SEO score. Would be nice if they give you some what of an idea on how they generate that score. :D

I have to disagree here. Having a Splash Screen is bad UI, not bad SEO.

If there's nothing of value in the Splash Screen, guess what? It's ignored.

But if you've got some good content on your web pages, guess what? The search engines will find them.

From a visitor point of view — certainly for those visiting via your web address — you're asking them to read or watch something and maybe even click before they get to your Home Page...
