Help required working out revenue per click

    Hi there,

I need to workout roughly how much someone is earning from Yahoo Publisher, who is sending clicks my way. I work for a company that has a .co.uk address and the other person luckily has alway had the .com.

He or she has placed Yahoo Publisher Ads on his or her's site. It is sending qualified traffic to my site, costing me £0.14 per click. It is qualified traffic because the visitors are really after our .co.uk site not the .com one, which has zero content just ads.

I would be interested to know what percentage of this £0.14 per click goes to the owner X.com? Therefore I can workout a suitable bid to buy the domain name off this person.

    Many thanks

    Dean

I would say the revenue split is below 50% probably close to 25% or less in pounds £.0375

Hope it helps and I would find a front man not tied to the company to make the bid.

    Peace

By my calculations, YPN sometimes keeps up to 30% (or more) of the revenue. Not sure if that helps.

I was under the impression we got 60%, but we would need to have a YahooPN rep let us know exactly. Perhaps I'll give them a call later to find out for sure.

There is no telling unless, like bmhrules said, you have a rep to let us know...by the way, if you find out, let me know too
