Guys Great forum - great advice - crawl, lick boots........ Have a few questions and i hope you all find them interesting Why keeping the default theme is a huge mistake? Somebody told me this and to be honest have not the foggiest idea!!! Which plugin will give you higher search engine rankings? Heard about 'widgets' or something can they be detrementable and which ones are the best? How to get your blog indexed in Google within 48 hours? How to? Which sites will give you almost instant traffic? Does anybody know of any? I dont have a website at the moment but thinking down the lines of blog on suitable interested in and have knowledge subject. Keeping the default theme for a blog, e-commerce site, whatever it is, looks amateurish - if your mum has a blog to show pics of the kids to your auntie in New Zealand, she'll keep to the default theme because she probably doesn't know there are other options. How to get indexed - ping your blog, and/or put a link anywhere that gets crawled often. Instant traffic - stumbleupon is the obvious - but it tends to be short-lived unless you've got something to grab people's attention and make more people want to give it a thumbs up.
