I run a website which is marijuana related (weedguru.com). The forums and front end are a resource and place of discussion for marijuana enthusiasts. The traffic is around:> 1-1.5million hits 350-400 Pages 30-40000 Visits 25-35000 unique visitors (all per month) I want to start making some money from the site. Have tried a few CPM programs, most of whom have declined my site on the grounds of its content. Are CPM programs the best way for me to make money*** And does anyone know any CPM programs which would accept my site*** Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers dan
CPM, is the best way to earn more and more money if you have good traffic. Try adsdaq.com, but it only pays for U.S visitors. I earned lots from CPM
Adsaq declined my application, as did several other CPm networks I tried to join...The only ones, thus far, wo have accepted me are Clicksor, and I have deleted their advert code minutes after installing it onto my php index page...It installed a banner. But it also installed text links all over the forums, as well as a crop of malware...thinking that it surely must be OK to accept the connection I agreed when I loaded in my home page, and my firewall said 'this wants to connect' then I had to spend an hour cleaning my laptop of malware...mainly the torjan vundo...I have written to clicksor regarding this um...inconvenience but thus far, no response has been forthcoming. My original post should have said : 350000-400000pages per month... anyone else have any ideas of how best to turn my traffic into money...
Perhaps sth in connection with traveling to Holland? they have this Queensday festival or sth like that - i know it is one time event, but maybe they would be interested in advetizing on your site... I think you should contact them though..
You are getting that many hits? You sure about that? I'm an advertiser, but I' afraid I am not interested in a site that gets only a few hundred hits a day, if that many. Sorry. But you can go to sites similair as yours, and contact their advertisers to ask if they too would like to advertise with you. There are many places you can go to find advertisers on your own. It is not as hard as you think it is.
