Hi, I'm looking through my backlinks in Yahoo from the Coop, very impressive indeed for 1 week. However, I've noticed a URL or two that shouldn't be there according to the Coop TOS and want to report them, as I love the clean-site policies of the network and want my site featured on such sites only. How do I report a site that has obviously slipped through the net? Thanks, Jeremy
Hey, Jeremy. We are all together in this, just post the URLs here and we will all give our opinion about it.
Thanks for quick response fryman, the site in question is: sexo.todoslosforos.com I haven't added the http because I don't want to provide them a link . It seems a clear case of an "adult" site having slipped into the network. Thanks everyone for your input, Jeremy
Great. Thanks for pointing it out, Jeremy. Some bad sites slip into the network every now and then, but if you ever notice one just report it here and it will be taken care of.
Thanks for the quick and decisive response, looks like the "cooperative" ethos of the Coop really works. I also can't help but comment how great the quality of links has been, and having lots of organic-looking links from smaller sites is definitely having a good influence on traffic. This is a good thing, Thanks everyone, Jeremy
Hi, I was following my backlinks and I found a site using multiple linking services on the same page. They are using a company called "managed links" as well as the co-op. The site is: www.andrews.com/cell-phones.html Is this at odds with the TOS? What ads are not allowed to be run on a Co-op ad site? thanks, sam.
I've used managed links before, about a year ago. Basically all it's doing is showing a link from managed links on your site; then he rotates your link on his. Never saw anyone elses link show on my site. I dropped their program after 6 weeks - My psgerank dropped and I panicked. Removed the link and pr came back.
I just refreshed a few times on that Managed Links site - they change every time you refresh just like the co-op. Thanks for the post flawebworks - I was planning to try them out on a friend's site. sam.
I reread the TOS and I have a new conclusion: You CAN use Managed Links and the co-op at the same time. It's not against the terms of service. regards. sam.
