Help Registering domian name

    I want to register a expired domain name but godaddy shows i cannor register it, here is some details. Pls tell me why?

    Status: pendingDelete
    Updated Date: 18-mar-2007
    Creation Date: 04-jan-2006
    Expiration Date: 04-jan-2007

    dont build your hopes up either, first time i waiting 2 weeks for a domain i wanted to be deleted i got up a little ealier each morning to make sure i was around when it was deleted to find that the owner had registered it again :(

    I would'nt wait, its been renewed if its longer then a couple weeks after the expiration date i would give up hope.

    Expiry and deletion dates are different. When a domain expires the previous owner is given a grace period so they can re register.

    New owners cannot register until the deletion date.

    there is no such thing, it can happen anytime, that's the other game that they play with you...

    1) they want to think that whoever register this domain will come back.
    2) they don't know if this domain is wanted by others.

    so they having hard time to letting it go...

    and in case if for some reason you forgot or any other reason you didn't pay on time, they want to be able to give it back ...

    If it has expired in 04 Jan 2007, It is more than 65 days, so it has not been deleted yet :confused:
