help regarding seo..

Hello..I have a music site, link: http://www.myfavmusic.net..can any1 tell me that how can I increase the rank of the keyword 'Download Free songs' ..:/ Since its a strong keyword and there is a tough competition in it..

Yes first off make your links to your site work. It isn't working but I figured it out. I like the site by the way its simple effective. I get it, a google type approach.

Definitely get some back links for google search.. I am not sure what keywords you should really target though.

For traffic though it seems like some social networking might work well in your situation. Take a couple top sites and get a friend blaster or something and start bringing friends in that have music interests.

And btw I already submitted my site into Social netwrking sites but I got only one time traffic from them..My website is contentless..Its a search engine so What should I Submit more at digg etc???Because they don't accept duplicate entries..>< Hope u r getting my point...

 

Use your targeted keyphrase properly. Just take a look at your signature. If you really want to rank well in KW, ""Download Free Songs", use that EXACT Keyphrase as you signatures (not your whole website title). Now, if you want to rank in KW, "Music Search Engine", used it as a signature / anchor text SEPARATELY., Get my point?

U already doing doing posting in forum sites and add anchor text in signature as you did here.

 

Go for longer key word strings like download free songs now or download free songs easy

hmm I cudn't find a better phrase so is it fine if I keep it Download Free Mp3 Songs, instead of Download Free Songs ?

 

No make social network accounts and ask for new friend requests from people who have music interests. Ex: make a decent myspace page and get a few thousand friends. Some of them will convert and use your search engine, if it works.

I suggest dofollow blog commenting.

Find some dofollow blogs in music niche and comment using name as "Download Free songs" or get some links from related sites or blogs.

You can always get some backlink juice from Top Commentators, Recent Commentator widgets available on the sidebars.

Try to get some anchored keyword backlink from different domains and relevant pages with high PR, it would definitely help.
