    Hi,

I added a new domain in my Google Webmaster Tool account. As you know it requires verification. You can chose one of the following methods:

    1. Add a meta tag in site's page name

    OR

    2. Upload a file

Now the problem is my domain is parked at SEDO so how can I verify it? I don't think I can access my site's meta tag or upload a file.Help!

    Thanks

Doesn't make sense to me, why do you want a parked domain add to your webmaster tools account???
If you wish to use it, the first thing to do should be moving it from parked to a hosting account you have access to.

You should wait until you get a web host for your site.

Got an idea from somebody. First host domain, verify and then park at SEDO :)

I think it will work because it is about checking the ownership of domain and not where it is host. That is why they ask to upload file. Once done they won't be doing it again and again. My 2 cents.

Google verifies regularly when accesses your site.
You should maintain the uploaded file permanently.

Is the parked domain idea to get Google to index as early as possible? Seems like Google would have thought of this and has way to determine? Remember the almighty Google is watching.

A parked domain might have tags that indicate hosting.
