Help regarding drivers

    Recently i reinstalled the windows OS in my system and to my horror i found that i dont have proper drivers for my hardware, i found couple of sites providing drivers but i dont know what are the motherboard and sound card installled is there any software provides something like one touch install.:confused:

    I think you can give us a list of your mainboard and sound card types, then we will recommend you the right drivers.

    Sorry i dont have idea of the hardwares installed since it is very old i forgot. That is the reason i am asking for any one touch driver installer so that it will take care of the installations.

    Maybe you can search your drivers from Free Drivers Download. In this site, you can choose drivers by vendors and types. The result will list out the detailed info about drivers, like supported system, whether is the latest version, the size, etc.
    I suggest you download the latest version, for the latest version is aways compatible with old hardware.

    Hey neoanderson first you have to recognize your chipset, this you can do using a small software easily available on the internet named "cpuz' its a .exe file. It will show you your chipset and using chipset information you can find your drivers from Web. There are even packages of driver available on the net for different chipsets.

    neo i would suggest you to carry out an online driver scan to upgrade drivers..
    there is a variety of live driver scans.. and you can call it one touch installation.

    search the system model number using direct x tools and system info, then check the site of system maker for drivers..
