Help, recovered txt file from formatted harddisk, corrupt, cant read it

    One of my harddisk are accidentally formatted,
    then i recover an important file, a txt file

    I am success recover the txt file using Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional software,
    but after i open the txt file i cant read it, it is like below, please help how to fix this

    i am using windows xp btw

    I did some research try any of these:

    Maybe it will work on your end since you have the original file.

    And may I also suggest that you try to rescan your harddisk and use Recuva software to retrieve your files.
