Help recommend ways to improve fan-site conversion

Made a mistake of not doing enough research before diving into the project of setting up a fan-site (on a korean singer).

After 3 months time and effort, the traffic is building up gradually but conversion is very poor from adsense simply because there were no relevant adwords advertiser based on the content.

The targetting audience are mostly young 15-25 teen and working class female.
= they do not have high spending power
= most likely do not own credit card

Have looked at CJ or Linkshare, but almost all programs will not be effective on the site based on the presumptions.

Interesting observation, this site actually has the most CTR (albeit the payout is very low) in adsense as compare to my other projects which indicate the high tendency of visitors clicking on any relevant ads.

Any idea what else I can do to improve the conversion?

1. You should move adsense to upper, you place too many images above and takes time to load so someone who using slow internet connection (56k dial-up) will not see ads. because they leaved before ads. appear.

2. You should chage header from "ADS" to anything else like "Partner link" "Useful Resource" or something not ads

3. You should consider to place ads. at the right side and bottom too. Left side is best but it has put down because of bad layout.

4. You adsense colour is good for now.
