My boss has me franchising some of the products in the store and on the site.. yet I am unsure what exactly to do.. I've never done franchising before and don't want to let him down... Anything I should know so that I don't completely screw this up?? Please help

    Yours Truly,
    Court

Isn't franchising just getting someone else to sell your product or letting someone pay to use your branding.

It might help people to give you advice with a bit of background on your company and the products you have to "franchise".

On first thought I would say traget other companies in the same sector you are in who obviously don't have the same or similar products and approach them to see a)if they would be interested and b) if they already have a demand for that type of product.

The only problem with all of this is finding the products to put franchise...I have to coin the phrases and find the specific products that would be of interest to attract potential Franchisees... lol I have this little step thing I have to follow but the way he has it written just has me a bit confused.. lol didn't think at 18 I'd be getting myself into all of this lol Don't get me wrong I love it.. but I was hired as more of a content writer.. I'm slowly turning marketer

Perhaps an accounting or law firm would be the best people to consult about that.

You should be Honest and tell him you have NO IDEA, what your doing before he finds out and fires you

    Just my opinion....

    Hope that helps

lol I keep adding the problems... see the Law firm is the one that sent the guideline.. they are the ones who want the list of products that my boss wants to have protected. I'm the lucky dog who gets to figure this out for him... yay me.. lol I know I can do it.. I just have no clue about Franchising and it makes me nervous because I am actually clueless in something

Lol I told him I wasn't partial to this area... he just told me I could do it..

Maybe he is right.. just have to take time to research it
