Hello everyone, I put my site on google about 3 months ago and still i have do enter the full domain name to see it! Can someone help me and tell what i need to do for better results. i type all kind of keywords that are related to my site but i just see other sites that link to me. thank you.
Ok, we get a lot of these kind of posts here. Many people are fairly deluded into thinking that a site will rank well after a while for their keywords with little backlink promotion. Please tell me your website and the keyword you most want to target and I'll give you some advice.
It will definitely won't show up instantly. You need to build links pointing to your site with your desired anchor text. Gather quality and relevant links in order to rank well. Good luck!
we specialise in web optimisation, if you let me know your web address i can look over it and give you some pointers
Ok my web adress is www.hostbite.net but site is for now just for serbia and best keyword are web hosting srbija, neogranicen hosting
first you need your keywords in the title, its one of the most important onsite optimization. if your keywords arent in the content or the titles, youre going to have trouble getting ranked. you also, as said earlier, need really good back links, even though you do have a page rank of 1. so yea keywords in title and content, a good description and you should be ranked for your keywords no problem at all!!
You do not have many backlinks to that site to begin with. Yahoo is showing just over 20 and google is showing 0, although google does not show all of your backlinks anyhow. Macca is right, you need to put your keywords in your title tag and I also say you need to change your meta description tags. What geographical area are you trying to target with your site? You will want to obtain backlinks from sites that are in the same language as you along with the same country. I helped a friend of mine out with his real estate site, he wanted to target investors in France looking to buy property here in the US since there dollar is worth more then ours. So this is what we did... Registered a .FR domain name (pain in the butt) and setup hosting on a French IP address. The site was entirely translated to French and we worked on gaining backlinks from other French websites with the .FR extension. It did take us a good 3 or 4 months, but he soon was ranking up on Google.fr for some of his more popular search terms. It just takes time and a right marketing strategy.
