I just started up a forum on iPhones and i was wondering what the best way to get members is. Any suggestions???
i suggest you to hire someone to post to your forum. to look it more busy. or jusy create a multiple account.
first you must make the forum very much active, that is hire some people to reply or start new post and feel the visitors that the forum is very active. You can get people for 10c to 15c per post.
You can pay ppl people to join. You can buy targeted traffic, for people who are interested in Iphones. You can buy advertising from Adwords. You can attempt SEO (if you're willling to dedicate lots of time and money).
Start a blog on Hubpages and write about your forum, read other hubs and make comments. Use yahoo answers to answer questions related to your forum topic using your forum as the source.
