    Hi,

I have created a website -www.allyearfootball.com that is a free fantasy football site, but it uses computer simulated games, so that people can play all year long.

The site has been up for about 6 months now, and is slowly growing. I spending about $30/month on adwords, and it is getting me some traffic. I have tried a bunch of things - posting to forums, joining game directories, stumbleupon, and digg, however with the exception of one game directory (www.gamershood.com I am getting poor traffic from all of these sources.

So, my question is, between working fulltime, and having a family, I can afford about 2 hours/day on both increasing the capabilities of the site (i.e. improving content), and promoting the site. How would you recommend spending the time, and are there any other ideas to promote the site?

My current plans are to look into myspace (although I know very little about it), and adding some "premium features" to the game to hopefully generate some $$ that I can put into advertising.

    Thank you very much!

It's probably growing slowly, because the site layout is poor. Are you trying to get them to join your service or click off to an ad? Right now, it looks like the ads are the page's purpose.

It's your site, but I would fix it before spending more money/time in promotion.

    Once you do, try these:

    1. submit some articles
    2. look for fantasy football forums and make yourself know. Post 1-3 good posts daily (not spam).
    3. look for fantasy football groups to join and share in the discussion.
    4. look for ways to improve the amount of original content on your website.

    If I had 2 hours, I would:

    A. Spend up to 1 hour posting to related forums and groups.
    B. Spend 30 minutes coming up with article ideas for my website
    C. Spend 30 minutes looking for more groups and forums, seeking out new information and learning.

If you are not a writer, hire one. Make sure it's someone that is a sports and fantasy sports enthusiast. If they are not, it will show to those of us who are. Outsourcing will make sure the job is done right and you will save precious time. Make it a goal to submit at least one promotional article weekly. Submitting 2-3 would be best, but at least one will get the process rolling.

    Good Luck
