Hi, I need to buy a prepaid credit/debit card and I know there are a lot of scams out there so I need some help. Like I said in the other thread I found cardrex.com that looks good but I'd like to be sure. Do you know any reliable sites? I'd prefer an European vendor to save some customs taxes and would prefer the Euro currency but I'm up for the best wether it's from Europe or any other place. I'd like to hear opinions from people that already used these cards and people researching just like me. Which one is the best?
elance.com give a prepaid debit card. but its for professionals who work in elance. you can check the url : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=7735266 and link
I'm from Portugal. No. Not virtual! I want a real plastic card that I can use in ATM. The first link is wrong but I looked for www.elance.com and it's not what I'm looking for. I've google searched before about cardrex but there's not much independent information, that's why I'm looking for a proven solution that someone is using right now.
More alternatives Please let your opinions flow! www.capitalgategroup.com www.chronocash.com www.accountnow.net www.gapyearcard.com I found the follow in mastercard website, so I assume it's legit: www.prepaidfinancialservices.com They have loads more in their site www.mastercard.com Which of these companies do you find to be reliable?
Maybe you can try Payoneer, but since you are not in US you have to apply the cards thru some affiliate networks. You can try to sign up at AWE, once approved you can request the debit card. They will ship the card anywhere in the world. You can then load this card with your credit/debit card.
I would stay away from cardrex, definitely capitalgategroup too. Account now: only US citizens those other two options: only UK citizens For what purposes do you need the card? Are you willing to provide ID (which is almost like a MUST)? You can look at Talkgold for user "shoppingcards". He could have what you are looking for and is one of the most reliable sellers there. Hope this helps
Thanks for all your advice. I'd prefer not to give away any ID but I'll do if it's a reliable company and if it's necessary. I'll look for "shoppingcards" at Talkgold. Thanks
Many of these and especially Account Now aren't open to new users outside of the United States. Check out http://www.entropay.com/ - it might help and suit your needs! Hope this helps... Best & Take Care
Hi, I saw your post and hopefully I can help. I should fess up first and explain I work for one of the companies mentioned in the post www.prepaidfinancialservices.com. We provide Prepaid MasterCards in the following currencies GBP, US Dollar, Euro, South African Rand (useful for the World Cup). These cards are available to anyone over the age of eighteen. We can issue them to anyone living in the UK or in the EU. The cards are physical cards as opposed to the virtual ones discussed and can be used at ATM's and in shops and online. The card can be reloaded with a debit card, cash at any Payzone location in the UK and by bank to bank transfer. One of the posters mentioned that they didnt want to hand over any personal identification. Unfortunately if you want to have a prepaid card that can be reloaded with funds and reused and that has your name on it customers have to go through a process call KYC which means Know Your Customer. This is standard for cards of this type and means handing over some form of ID or proof of address but they are available. We only use these for verification purposes. Hope this helps. ps you dont have to pay booking fees on Ryanair flights when you pay with one of our cards which is an added bonus. Thanks
That's right but can you sign up for both if you only have a debit card ? (Looks to me that you need a CC to sign up at entropay)
Maybe ePassporte They offer a virtual card and a plastic card (I have one). And they allow U.S. residents as well as non. It's pretty easy to get an account there. I think I did have to send in i.d. documents though. No problems with them so far. I'm also curious what the problem is with CardRex is.
