"I need a site for an accounting service, Music artist website and a site for an online radio show. I am looking to move quickly on these projects. The accounting site will have roughly 8-10 pages depending how its set up but it would be like the H&R Block and Jackson hewitt websites just alot simpler... Maybe some flash but not needed. I have some mock designs I will attach but it doesn't have to be exactly like the templates The artist website would kind of be like: http://www.kerihilson.com/ - Not exactly but able to post interviews or videos, performance dates, audio snippets of the album and links to purchase online The online radio show website would be streaming audio shows with the ability to request music, upload mp3's and charge artists for memberships to play their music. Let me know if we can work and I would like to see what kind of prices I would be looking at individually or as a package. I have webhosting service with justhost for the first two websites" how much should I charge for doing these? I would like to do them seperate. Mainly focusing on the accounting site first, since it would be the easiest and quickest. I'm new and a freelancer, so I'm not trying to charge a large deal, to make sure I get the work. For a full design and code (coming in as a NEW freelancer), you would expect around $50 a page and $10 every other page. That accounting site would roughly be $140 depending on the technology needed. You said it was fairly simple though, so I'm guessing that's a fair price for a new freelancer. The artist website is just a blog with a build in e-commerce store. Wordpress would work for this. Id say around $150-270 for a full design and code of the wordpress blog and store. The online radio show website would probably be your hardest website, mostly because of the back end programming. It sounds like a basic social network site for musicians. Depending on the complexity, this could be a lot of money (but also a lot of time). I can't give an estimate, but I really hope you know PHP/MySQL.
Being that I operate an online internet radio station, I can tell you first hand that the costs are going to be very high. Much will have to be custom coded, and integrated into what ever music system they are using for their programing. Now if when you are saying radio show website you are referring to a single show site then that is a whole lot different, think along the lines of a podcast. Nothing too fancy required, wordpress or PHP will be all that you need.
$1000 for the job will be the reasonable price for that kind of project. If you do the design part,then you can charge more.
