Help Plz! How to promote a Competition?

    We want to start a competition for one of our sites. The website gets around 2,500 unique visitors daily, and has a few opt-in subscribers also. The site is for travel to Dublin, and we recently added a Competition for Dinner for two.

    We are obviously promoting the competition on our website, but what other ways can be used to promote it?

    Can we market it on other freebie sites or something? Any help will be appreciated.

    If you're in the UK have you tried listing the competition on Loquax and UKWins?

    Hi etali. No I'm not in the UK and haven't tried Loquax and UKWins. I started Press Releases, but I'm new to it as I've never done any press releases for any site before. Hope it turns out well for us.

    sending out emails of a compertions, also in pms. Chatrooms picking people out of random, and u get alot of people viewing your site so yea put a banner up
